Howdy Everyone! Hope your week went well and thanks for checking in here at WOW. This week, while looking back seemed long, somehow has just whizzed by. Not that I'm complaining! Later this week I will be heading home and I am looking extremely forward to it.

This past week here in the IWA has been another good one in my opinion. Thanks to everyone in Patillas, Loiza, Manati and Lajas for coming out to the shows and judging by their reactions, really enjoying them too. I know for myself and a lot of the other guys, that makes our job more fun and a lot easier when the fans are into it! Also, a special thanks to several members of the Chicky Star fan club (you guys know who you are!) who cheered for both Star Corporation and Club WWF in Manati. That made that evening a blast too. Of course, with Steve and I losing the belts, that was a downer, but as always LGO (Life Goes On). What can you do? Regardless, I thought we had some solid shows this week and I am curious to see what will happen at our TV tapings this Wednesday in Carolina.

    Things that make me smile...

sleep!... having a great workout at the gym...Fidel making up words to songs while we drive... sitting by the ocean on a nice evening... meeting "Lobo" fans at shows... thinking about home... hockey... travelling...listening to Elvis Presley tunes... get togethers with friends

Watched WWF RAW tonight and what a great show... and no, I'm not just saying that because Chris Benoit rules (although he does!!) Everything was great and I love watching all the pieces fall into place, whether it be something that night or another thing that builds up a storyline and it never ceases to amaze me how well WWF does it. The angle with Jericho/HHH is building up with some nice heat through DX, Angle/Undertaker is starting to build (loved Kurt on the scooter) and of course Rock and Benoit... but wait, there's more!! Trish and Lita,

Rikish and Val (jury's still out on his new do), you can see with so much why WWF is #1 in the sports entertainment industry and shows no sign of slowing down.

On the movie scene, went with Fidel, Natasha and Brett to see Jim Carrey's "Me, Myself & Irene". Thought it started a little slow, it does pick up and provides some hilarious moments and some very funny lines. Not Jim's best work but still quite enjoyable. Next on the list is "Scary Movie" which everyone I talked to who's seen it said it is "pee your pants hilarious".... ok, that's actually kind of gross.... LOL, seriously, I'm sure it will be a good one!

Well, I'm trying to think of what to tell you in the next chapter of the "Andy Anderson saga". Quite a few people wrote me and said how they liked hearing about the halloween costume and about my Mom taking a group of us to a show for my birthday. Personally, I think people think it's funny, can relate to it or both. And I agree on both cases! So I got to thinking (I know, bad habit!) just so I don't mess up the chronological order of things, I would ramble off wrestling related experiences as I think of them instead. And trying to stay with some youthful events, I'll discuss one of the greatest inventions in my younger years: wrestling figures! I mean really! I'm talking back in the day of those big 8" LJN plastic figures that came with the little posters. You know, the ones that if you would have hucked them at a sibling or friend would have caused serious bodily harm? Or if you had kept them boxed, they would have been worth something today? As if! Once you bought the wrestling ring and cage accessory, man, that was it!! I must have had close to 20 of them and I know they are still in a suitcase at home somewhere. I used to make up shows in a notebook, building little angles, keeping attendence records and where the events "took place". I had a study lamp used as my main spotlight with the room dimmed and even used entrance music when available. Eventually, I added some He-Man figures and a few Rambo figures into the fray as well. That was great stuff. When my family travelled, I would take some figures with me and if we were driving, I would start making little wrestling magazines about the wrestlers (of course, I eventually added myself to the magazine but never had a doll representing me... hopefully one day soon I will change that!) and still have matches which I guess today would be considered "back seat brawls" where I had these guys wrestling all over the back of the car. Forget Bret, Shawn, HHH and The Rock, these were the true "Ironmen"!!

Well, as I mentioned earlier, I will be heading home later this week and I cannot wait! I've been in this business for just over 4 years and while I have travelled all over and met so many great people, as the saying goes, "there's no place like home". Seriously, you know how people say "you don't know how much you miss something until it's gone"? That's true for being away from home, at least to me anyways. I'll be in Canada for 3 weeks and will spend 2 weeks at home in Edmonton and a week in Winnipeg. I'm looking foward to seeing my family and friends and just hanging out and having a good time.

That's it for me, next time I write I should be back in Edmonton enjoying my vacation (which I think is overdue and well deserved!!). Again, any comments, questions, feedback or just want to say hi, drop me a line at wowiwa@mail.com. For those who I keep in contact with via ICQ, you can keep in touch with me through this address as well. Have a great week everyone, and as Ozzy Osborne once sang, "Mama, I'm coming home" Take care.

Arriba El Lobo!
