Howdy everyone and welcome to another week of WOW! It has been incredible over the last few days how people have checked out the site and column and on behalf of Luis and I, thank you!! Hope you liked what you see and will continue to check us out! Again, as I stress, if you have any comments or feedback, or just want to drop a line saying hi, please do so at wowiwa@mail.com. To those who have already, thanks and keep in touch.

Well, another Monday night has come and gone and for me, it was a great one. Spent the evening at Shane's place along with his girlfriend, Fidel, Natasha, Pain, his girlfriend, Shan Hill, Alex Power, Steve Bradley and Brett Sanders. We had BBQ and watched Raw and both were excellent. Mick Foley is so hilarious with his lines and delivery and Benoit? Great to see he's getting pushed to that next level. I loved it. Saw a bit of Nitro, thought Johnny The Bull's springboard legdrop to the floor on Terry Funk was one of the stupidest things I've ever seen.

We had another busy week here in the IWA. Earlier in the week, Fidel, Natasha, Havana, Shan Hill, Alex Power, Ricky Banderas, Jesus Cristobal, Shane and myself went to a camp for kids with the MDA (Muscular Dystrophy Association). What an experience! Although the place was about an hour away, it took us over two hours to get there due to traffic and getting lost. Needless to say, we were all getting restless, frustrated, hungry and not too mention needing a bathroom (especially the ladies!). When we did get there though, those kids made it all worth the trouble. The smiles on their faces just to see us, never mind getting a photo or autograph is amazing. It is a feeling I don't think I could ever get tired of, and to comprehend the fact that you can make a difference in someone's life like that for a handshake or a photo is truly overwhelming! When it was all said and done there, we all stopped at a Mc Donalds to eat where several diets (including mine!) went out the window!

Regardless, the night did end on a positive note.

Wrestling wise, we had TV tapings in Salinas which went well. For those of you who are able to watch our programs, I'm sure you will like what you see. Unfortunately, I only got to work twice but did have fun as usual. Friday we were in Ponce and had a solid show there. Following that we had a surprise birthday party for Victor Quinones, the owner of the IWA. It was a good time and the food was great! Saturday we were in Catano to a great house, (better than our last one) and the crowd was hot. We finished the weekend in Lajas where we return to next Sunday. it was a tough crowd response wise, but from feedback I hear people did enjoy the show. This week, we are in Patillas, Loiza, Manati and Lajas. If you are in the area, come check us out!

In the blazing social life of "El Lobo", I went and saw Shaft. A good movie which was entertaining. A whole lot of us went to see it, and I think everyone liked it except Shane. This week should be Jim Carrey's Me, Myself & Irene. I hear it's great and I'm look forward to seeing it. Again, if you're looking for juicy social life gossip on "El Lobo", sorry, wrong place!!!

I saw an article in a recent Raw magazine where Jim Ross had his column with "things that make me smile". I like the idea and think it will become a regular feature in WOW. So without further ado, here is the first sample of "things that make me smile..."

.... my family and friends......my dog, Misty......wrestling (duh!)....Chris Benoit matches..... listening to Kid Rock.....driving to towns and listening to Fidel trying to rap (very funny)........... Fidel trying to play tough guy and Natasha tickles him till he screams (also very funny).....pizza......beautiful women.....the beach

That's a good start. I'm sure a lot of you can identify with some of these. Heck, if you want to send me a list of things that make you smile (maybe we have some mutual ones), please send them to me!

Alright, last week I said how I would start the "saga" of Andy Anderson and how I came to where I am now. Well, let's get right to it, shall we?

In the beginning, I was about 5 years old and living in Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada. That was where an uncle of mine introduced me to the world of professional wrestling with an organization called the AWA. It was on every Saturday at 6pm on Channel 12 and I never missed it. We would watch Nick Bockwinkle, Ray Stevens, Sheik Adnan Al Kassie, Jerry Blackwell, Greg Gagne & Jim Brunzell and a host of others that would pass through. Names like Boom Boom Bundy, Bruiser Brody, Rick Martel, The Road Warriors, Andre The Giant, Jerry Lawler, Scott Hall, The Freebirds and even some guy named The Incredible Hulk Hogan. Looking back, I realize I had seen a lot of guys before they made it real big. My uncle would practice bodyslams and bear hugs on me and I learned the sunset flip too. To this day, my Uncle still mutters "who knew?" and "I created a monster!"...Well, not just yet dear Uncle, but I'm working on it! There was grade 3, where my best friend Darcy and I were the Road Warrior! s for Halloween. His Mom wanted to make it special so she bought us matching black pants that had Road Warriors down the sides and black T-Shirts with Road Warriors on the front, Darcy had Hawk on his back, I had Animal on mine. My Mom then spray painted our hair to match their haircuts and also painted our faces accordingly. We were on top of the world that day!! I think it was even one of those years where for my birthday, my Mom took a group of us to an AWA show at the Winnipeg Arena. Imagine a lady with a group of about 5 or 6 little kids behind her! And this was in the days before "sports entertainment" so there were more adults then kids, but we loved it! God Bless my Mom for taking us too! Wow, I just looked at how much I wrote and realized I'm taking a serious trip down memory lane here! Well, I'll leave it at that for this week, and next week I'll give you some more young Andy tidbits that will make you smile or say "hey, I did the same thing!"

Next time I will recap another week in the IWA, talk more about the Andy Anderson "saga", find some more things that make me smile and whatever else pops into my mind. As always, if there is anything you would like to ask or want me to write about, please let me know! I check the mailbox on a regular basis so don't be shy! Well, thanks for reading and take care!

Arriba El Lobo!!!
